On December 15th, 2011, PJ's Pets & Pets Unlimited were thrilled to present the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides a cheque in the amount of $35,000!!

This donation is the result of an annual fundraising campaign that took place in PJ's Pets and Pets Unlimited stores across Canada during the month of November 2011.

"PJ's Pets and Pets Unlimited have provided tremendous support to the Lions Foundation's Dog Guide programs over the last seven years. This donation of $35,000 will purchase a vehicle for the Dog Guide breeding program. In the past, PJ's has contributed to various projects and have sponsored numerous Dog Guide teams from each program," says Sandy Turney, Executive Director.

On behalf of Dog Guides, PJ's Pets and Pets Unlimited we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who made contributions to this worthy cause. This is an organization that is near and dear to all of our staff. It is extremely heartwarming to see the benefits and impact that Dog Guides have on the lives of their recipients.
