Here's how it works
During the first intermission of the World Junior Hockey Championship in Edmonton, Alberta, the contest winner and two friends shoot 10 pucks each in 15 seconds. If they get a combined total of 10 goals, they’re each going home in their own brand new 2012 Chevrolet Volt.

To win the million, our lucky competitor gets 24 seconds to shoot 20 pucks into an open net from the far blue line. If they score 15 or more goals, they'll win $1,000,000.

Last year's winner
Barry Epp, 63, lives, breathes and sleeps hockey - and his devotion to the game served him well at this year's Chevrolet Million Dollar Shootout. He and his son Shane handily put away a total of 10 goals, enough to win a new Chevrolet Cruze for each of them and their friend Chris Kirwan. "Just being at the World Juniors is an amazing experience," Barry said, "but to win a new vehicle at the game is simply unbelievable."
