ICE, ICE BABY

Sweet, refreshing and nostalgic – few things beam us back to childhood quite like popsicles do.

We scored the last three of Janet Dimonds’ much talked about gourmet ice pops at the Evergreen Brickworks Farmer’s Market last weekend, and loved every sticky, slurpy bite. My favourite was the grapefruit, ginger and lime, but you can pick from strawberry with basil and balsamic, blueberry lemonade and blackberry with lime.

Expect a sugary, sticky mess. Popsicles wouldn’t be the same without one. —Athena Tsavliris
